#35 Hands on Art

My art class, it makes me happy. We are just mixing colors, learning the magic, seeing the power of blue.

#34 Still green

Another rainy day, but the sun was shining in my house... my husband is back from the States after two weeks absence, and today is his birthday. We enjoy having him back. Yesterday's photo as I had no time whatsoever to think about taking pictures... lots of good food though.

#31 Green pods

It is gray and rainy here. Not much light to capture, but luckily green is beautiful on gray days too.

Posting an oldie as there was no time today! No time! Tomorrow the camera is not leaving my side.

#30 Drugstore

If you have been to Europe, you know that the bright neon sign is there to let everyone know that the pharmacy is open for business. A concentric green greek cross that flashes intermittently. Hypnotic.

#29 nature's door

When I walk down the hill from my house, the first thing I see is this abandoned house. I have wanted to capture its decrepit state for years. I ventured to the main door, pass the fence... I have to go back and get some TTV images. Beautiful.

A day strolling the streets of Milan. So much to see, so little time.

#25 Duomo: Up there.

We went to Milan with the children. Of course I had to take them to the Duomo's roof. 250 steps later, we were face to face with gargoyles and saints.

#24 I wonder

I wonder what hides behind old doors. Memories of lives past, echoes of people coming and going, the threads of their stories crossing this portal over and over again.

#23 A door with heart

We went to Briancon, France today. We met with good friend, and I took her boys with me. They will stay with us for a week. I expect a lot of music in the air and a lot of food on the table.

#22 Found

Today, after our run on the trail with my friend, we stopped to chat a while. While we talked, our dogs kept themselves entertained chewing these pods. I have no idea what they are, or what they are called, but they sure are beautiful.

#20 Oxidized

The sun came out for a total of half an hour, long enough to go the the old "borgo" and shoot some more brown. I love the yin-yan balance of these image.

#19 Homebound

My boy is sick. We stayed home all day. He read and played the guitar. I cooked and enjoyed his company.

#18 Our lady of the Duomo

This lady stands in front of the Duomo in Milan -rain or shine- and loudly speaks her mind to all.
This is an image from February of this year, I am posting it in lieu of today's shot.

Sometimes you don't have to go looking for your picture, it just shows up at your window.
